What's new in cycle analyst V3?

Version 3 takes a centralised approach, with all communications running through the head unit and one unified throttle output signal on to the controller. Throttle input mapping, preset current/power/speed adjustment, torque/PAS sensor management and brake cut-off are all handled by Cycle Analyst V3.

What is a cycle analyst?

The Cycle Analyst has been our flagship product since we first introduced it as a DrainBrain device in the summer of 2006. This is a universal dashboard for ebikes and other EV systems, and has evolved to include many advanced feedback and control capabilities as well.

How do I connect a cycle analyst to my ebike?

The Cycle Analyst must be externally powered up in order to communicate, it won't get power just from the programming cable alone. So either bring a laptop nearby to your ebike, or have a battery or other source at hand to turn on the CA. The V3 CA has a bundle of additional wires coming out of it in addition to the normal 6-pin CA-DP plug.
